New Mexico State Employees Alliance

Organic Commodity Commission

Since 1990, the New Mexico Organic Commodity Commission has been providing Organic Certification services for New Mexico farms, livestock ranches and food processing facilities. These rigorous regulations are compliant with state, federal and international (EU) organic rules. The accreditations held by the agency allow our clients to perform business operations
internationally.

The four dedicated staff--over 20 combined years with the agency and over 40 combined years of organic farm & market experience and an intricate working knowledge of local farm issues--offers personalized attention to each Certified Organic operation.

Organic Certification not only affords the organic producer with a higher return on their products but protection of the New Mexico environment and waters as well as enabling traditional farmers to remain on their lands.

Through Organic certification and enforcement, the agency provides citizens of New Mexico consumer protection in the organic marketplace.

In conjunction, NMOCC also offers organic education to the general public as well as the farmer and provides marketing assistance to the organic producer.
